TRAVELLING TO ANTWERP
There are two airports that service Antwerp:
Antwerp Deurne (http://www.antwerp-airport.be; Tel: +32 (0)3 285 65 00) is the closest, just 4 miles (15 minutes drive) from the city centre but this airport only serves a handful of flights, mainly to and from the UK. For further information, please refer to the airport’s website. Connection from the airport to the city centre is via taxi (approx €12 per single fare) or airport bus 14 to the Antwerpen Centraal Station (travel time 20 minutes).
Brussels Zaventem (http://www.brusselsairport.be/en/; Tel: +32 (0)2 753 77 53, is Belgium’s main airport and is 40km from Antwerp’s city centre. For flight schedules, please refer to the airport’s website. The Airport is 28 miles or a 30-minute drive from Antwerp city centre (longer during rush hours). The airport can be reached by train or bus:
Train
The airport train station is located below the Terminal (Level -1). Up to 4 trains an hour connect the airport to Brussels North. There is no direct train between Antwerp and Zaventem airport. You will have to transfer at Brussels North from to either Antwerpen Centraal or Antwerpen Berchem stations.
Bus Shuttle Service
SN Brussels Airlines Express bus shuttle service runs an hourly direct coach service to and from Antwerp between 04.00 and 23.00 (Sundays 06.00-23.00). Refer to http://www.airportexpress.be/ for the timetable. This is the most convenient way to travel between Antwerp and Brussels Zaventem. The shuttle terminates at the stop De Keyserlei, close to Antwerp’s Central Station. Travel time is 45 minutes. The Antwerp Express coach departs from the back of
Platform B at the bus station (Level 0) which is one floor down from the Arrivals Hall.
By rail from other destinations
Both international trains and inter-city trains stop in Antwerpen-Centraal and Antwerpen-Berchem stations. For further information, please contact the Belgian Railways website: http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/
By Car

The Elzenveld Congress Centre is located in the city centre of Antwerp in Lange Gasthuisstraat (No 45).

The Centre can easily be reached by car, public transport or foot from the city’s Central Station, main shopping street, the Meir and the Groenplats. There is a public car park very close to the Centre - Vinci Parking Leopold, Henri Van Heurckstraat 9. Open 0600-2400. Tel: + 32 (0)3 232 30 42. Cost per day - €13 (weekdays) and €14 (weekends).
