AIDACP has been set up on the initiative of a group of professional women (opp.
doctors, social workers, nurses, and other female professionals) involved in the sector of
lung oncology, who share the problems relative to neoplastic lung pathology in women
and who think that it is important to put their ideas into practice in an association that
can serve to disseminate information in our country and transfer the data within the
context of programmes and social initiatives of pragmatic intervention. We would like
AIDA to represent a valid working tool aimed at supporting, both socially and
scientifically, a challenge that we cannot miss.

Awareness and information
Counselling, both medical and psychological, direct or through telematic support,
given to women affected by lung cancer.
Participation, by collaborating with national and communitarian authorities, as well
as non-profit associations and foundations, and local, national or communitarian
projects aimed at disseminating scientific information
Creation of a scientific structure for the exchange of information and data among
single researchers and/or groups of researchers in the field of oncology
Endorsement of research in the oncological field:
Promotion and organisation of conferences
Assignment of (university) grants
Coordinate, manage, participate in clinical studies
