International Cooperation Committee is organizing the traditional course for cardio-thoracic surgeons and related specialists, centred on the practical application of modern science to our field. This course will be organized as a seminar, with short introductory lectures and practical, mentored activities. Leading experts in the field will address the topics, and will moderate practical demonstrations. Main topics are:

Ethical aspects of human research
This course is primarily oriented towards academic surgeons and related specialists, who are pursuing or planning the scientific career in the field of cardio-thoracic surgery.
Registered participants will have access to a course home page, where the educational material and planned tests will be deposited; this will form the basis for mentored exercises during the course.
